Fraud is a rampant disease that is eating away at the vitals of the state. We debate the issue day in and day out. What is fraud we ask? Where is the proof? What is the punishment? What is the antidote? Who will prosecute? Who will pronounce judgment? All this has already been decided by Him in whose hands all decision lies. 83. Surah Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud)

2. Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure,
3. And when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due.
4. Think they not that they will be resurrected (for reckoning),
5. On a Great Day,
6. The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?
Surah 1, 2 and 3 define what Fraud is:
They define what the punishment is.
Here is what fraud is. Fraud is to take full measure when something is due from others: and to give less in measure when one has to pay.
Let the reader note that the punishment is stated straight away.
There is no ambiguity.
Those who commit fraud are condemned.
We will have to revert to the Urdu language to understand fully what lies in store those who commit fraud.
Allah has pronounced ‘Halakat’ for those who commit fraud.
It is not for ordinary mortals to debate the issue.
It has already been decided.
All that remains is for those who commit fraud to realize the enormity of what they have done.
